Supporting Moms:

Many Moms are feeling burdened and weighed down due to the amount of pressure we are under to achieve and be a success as a Mom, wife, business woman, daughter, sister, etc.

Society's approval is so often what keeps us admitting that we are not coping in certain areas and we often feel that we are the only one going through what we are going through.  We put on a brave face and our message that we send to the world is "I have everything under control".
We know reality is somewhat different, and so in light of this 
Mighty Mom acknowledges the everyday challenges Moms face and are committed to providing a support structure to make life easier for the modern day Mom.

We address issues such as:

• Psychological Issues
• Trauma
• Drug and/or substance abuse
• Finances
• Safety & Security
• Getting back to community living
• Dealing with adolescents
• Divorce
• Lack of time
• Underage sex in our children
• Heatlhy boundaries & healthy values in our homes
• Encourage unity and support between Moms
• Provide easy access to knowledge and information

Mighty Mom strives to bring support structures to Moms to make life easier, and as a member to Mighty Mom you receive the following free services:

• Mighty Mom manual - addressing issues we Moms face
• First Aid training
• Legal and Tax advice (coming early 2010)
• Trauma and psychological guidance and support from experts in their field (coming November 2009) - This is telephonically driven until early 2010
• Drug and Substance abuse guidance and support
• Connecting with other Moms with similar issues
• Weekly newsletter bringing knowledge and support (January 2010)

The annual subscription cost to become a Mighty Mom Member is R480.00 for the first year.  Thereafter, the payment will be R40.00 per month.

It is important to know, that you are not alone in whatever issues you face and the large group of Moms who are members to Mighty Mom are here to support you.  We come from all walks of life, so do not be afraid to share your issues with us as we "walk across the room" showing support to one another.
