A chance to be torn apart
But I knew the love for you
Was from the start

In your giving way
In those happy days
My feelings for you
Words could not say

The warm summer nights
With kisses of might
Deep down I thought
This must be right

But I learned it was a lie
To point I would cry and hurt and I slowly died
So eventually I knew,
It was time to say goodbye
